Screenshots coming soon — CA Idle is still in development.
CA Idle starts with a single cellular automaton rule and a blank grid. Cells live, die, and multiply on their own — and every resource you earn comes from watching that happen, not from clicking.
As you progress, you unlock new cell types, new rules, and new grids that interact with each other in increasingly strange ways. A rule that looked exhausted at hour one turns out to be the seed of a system you didn't expect at hour ten.
There's no story and no combat. The whole game is the slow discovery that simple, deterministic rules can produce behavior complex enough to surprise the person who wrote them.
